I prefer blonde, because it just looks right-er. Er... yes. Which one do you prefer? Hm. Strange. Firefox says that 'blonde' isn't a word.

I generally use "blonde" when referring to a female, and "blond" when referring to a male. No idea what the actual rule is, though.

According to Wiktionary, using an e is the Yank way, and without an e is the Brit way.

According to dictionary.com, "Blonde" refers exclusively to females, while "Blond" refers to any person. So Professer Rabbit is basically correct.

I use blonde for both. Though Microsoft Word doesn't seem to agree with me...

As far as I know, 'blonde' is for females and 'blond' is for males. But I've also seen 'blond' used for females, so I guess Thunder is correct.

Yeah, this is the way i do it. Blame French class and those Frenchie people's annoying habit of putting 'e's on things to make them feminine. It rubbed off on me. *fumes*

That's weird - about the Yank/Brits way. Everyone I know over here spells it with an e, including me, except one girl who removes the 'e' for males. :-/ But yes, I use only blonde.

I didn't think "blond" was really a word. I just thought it was a misspelling of "blonde." I always use the one with the E, guy or girl. :?

I thought it was the other way around until I figured out "blonde" was a word. Then I started using that. And now I find out the actual definitions...it's so confusing!
