The origin of my user name:
I was signing up for an artist's online networking site and had to think of a name. I like to write, and I noticed that almost everyone on that site had a username with "dragon" in it. So, as a mockery, I decided to create an outrageous name using "dragon." At first, I wanted to do "Scholarly Dragon," but scholarly was an -ly adjective (too often confused with adverbs), and "scholarly" was too common and drew up connotations of strange homeschoolers. Thus, Eloquent Dragon, which (to state my audacity bluntly) fit perfectly with my writing style which, (if you haven’t noticed) has the unfortunate effect of ridiculously long sentences and a dizzying variation in my plethora of vocabulary choosings. *breathes in huge breath* Also, I could spell “Eloquent” but not “Scholarly.”
On a side note, everyone should use 'plethora' in their posts.
Ah, the simple sublimity of my authorship!
