Sandvich says...

Hello there. My name's Sandvich, and you just stumbled across my failthread. Well done. :)
Anyway, as I said, my name's Sandvich. I'm thirteen and three-quaters. I'm a Brit, so I moan a lot. (stereotypes are so fun)
I'm a slightly odd cookie. I like Halo, Left 4 Dead and occassionally Call of Duty, although I'm STRONGLY opposed to Modern Warfare 2. More of a Treyarch guy myself. Also, my favourite band right now is Blue Stahli, and I swear quite a lot in real life.
This makes me sound like a guy who gets regular detentions and mouths off teachers. In fact, I've never really gotten in any serious trouble (except when I broke the tutor group door off the hinges, but the school eventually decided that it was a faulty one anyway and that it was everybody else's fault for messing around with it (I was trying to get it open so my friends could get in, but other people were holding it shut.)). I'm also pretty sensitive about stuff and I love to write. I tend to get really, really angry when someone just starts being a plain idiot to annoy everybody.
I mainly write post-apocalyptic stuff, though I'm currently working on some Sci-Fi for NaNo. It's coming along... quite badly. :(
So yeah, that's me. Also, I'm obsessed with zombies. Also, did this make me seem at all like a bad person? xD

Bye. :)

You're a Brit too? Interesting.

I like Halo, Left 4 Dead and occassionally Call of Duty, although I'm STRONGLY opposed to Modern Warfare 2.

Bad experience with Modern Warfare 2, eh? It can't just be Treyarch. What happened? Halo and CoD are great, but I've never played Left for Dead (too much of chicken really). Have you tried Crackdown? That's pretty good too.

Also, my favourite band right now is Blue Stahli, and I swear quite a lot in real life.

I can't say I've heard of them, but some of my favourite British bands are Muse, Funeral for a Friend, Bloc Party and Hurts (do they count as a band, or a duo?).

I mainly write post-apocalyptic stuff, though I'm currently working on some Sci-Fi for NaNo. It's coming along... quite badly.

It can't be as bad as what I'm doing for NaNo. I have no idea where the story is going and I haven't written more than 800 words. It's not even fantasy like I'm used to, it's mainstream fiction.

You like zombies? I like dragons and dhampirs for someone reason (I detest Eragon and Twilight though).

Anyway, nice to get to know you! :D

Hehe, greetings to a Sandvich! :D
Odd cookie? Yay, another one! We're all slightly retarded on YWS ... Not stereotyping anyone ...
I'm not much of a computer/video games person, so I don't know what Left 4 Dead, Treyarch and Call of Duty are, but I have heard of Halo. My brother obsesses about it over the dinner table every night. And he doesn't like Modern Warfare 2 either, so you are not alone!
I haven't heard of Blue Stahli - I'm not really up to date with the modern world.
I'm sorry to hear that you swear a lot :( but it doesn't make me think you're a bad person. Just because I don't like swearing doesn't mean I'm all godly and perfect and all that. Euch.
Ha, the door episode is hilarious. I have something along those lines as well, though not quite ... *scenes to do with breaking the music teacher's foot by dropping a piano on it flash through mind* ...
I love to write, too! High five, buddy! It's great to get to know you :D
Thanks for sharing!
