Hello, I'm Shadow_Windstorm, although I'm generally called Shadow, but I guess you could call me Stormy as well. This is v4.1 or so (hehe) of my original username (which I used for almost every site I signed up on), and I think I like this one the best so far.

I write occasional short stories, so I'm hoping to get started with that soon, but I'm often rather lazy, and still need to finish some art requests. That brings me into the next few things that I might mention: Some of my other, erm, hobbies, are drawing and digital art. I own a tablet and a few programs, and it will soon be a year that I've been doing digital art.

As for Young Writers Society, it seems like a really nice community. ^-^ I have a feeling that I'll enjoy it a lot here. Before joining, I'd been thinking about joining for a little while, and Explosive_Pen (who is a friend of mine in real life) has been begging me to join. Finally, she suceeded this morning over AIM in getting me to join up here.

Yep, the rules seem to agree well with my policies in general, so I think all seems good there.

My favourite authors include Christopher Paolini and Eoin Colfer, and I'm a huuuge fan of Artemis Fowl.

Well, the same thing is true for me. But I guess a nickname still is a name, since it has the word name in it...? I guess that it kinda makes sense.
