My names Jason, 13, live in Australia etc

I like basketball, surfing and book/poems (strange combo :)) And my Favourite author is Matthew Reilly

I'm really looking forward to spending more time on this site and yea.

And I was wondering, with the 2:1 rule, do I have to do 2 reviews first or am I allowed to post something and then do 2 reviews.

Thanks

Hello, Jason! Welcome to YWS!

I'm Miss Slade, but I'm often called Miss, Slade, Sladie, Salad, Moony or Peyton.

With the 2:1 rule you 'do' have to do two reviews before you post some of 'your' work in the writing forums. But in the the Community forums you can post at free will.

Now let's see...

YWS is like a big family and so after a little while of being here you'll know 'everyone'. I myself have only been here since late February(with the exception of other accounts) and I know pretty much all the actives.

Well, welcome to YWS again and I do hope you like the site!

Best of Wishes,

Hey there, Jason!
I see you've done your homework on our 2:1 rule. *pats Jason's head*
There is also another rule you should note,
Avoid chatspeak because we're trying to promote good english.
Minor aberations are fine.

So you like basketball, surfing and books, huh?
That's not too strange a combination.
I love many things but one of the more weird combinations which make people give me funny looks is when I tell them I play soccer and chess.

So what genre do you like to read and write about?
I'll be looking forward to seeing some of your works!

~P.S: Welcome to the YWS family! *hugs*
PM me for anything whatsoever :D
I hope you have fun here!

So you mean that when I go into that fancy chat room you've got here I can't use chatspeak?

Ouch you ask the impossible but i'll try.

And hey by the way. :D

Fancy? Our chatroom is fancy?
*pauses to think*
Well, so far I've been there quite a few times and I don't see people using chatspeak.
Maybe you could try using it once in a while,
But I can't promise you that they won't throw you to the hounds :D

If you stop using chatspeak, you'll eventually make a habit out of it,
And it won't be so painful and impossible for you.
I'm able to switch between either.

Jason. Dude.
The evidence of your crime is clearly displayed in this thread you created.
Every can see your 'y u torment like that i mean wth' chatspeak crime.
You are so guilty.

Fine, I'll be nice and you can pick:
Do you want to get mauled by a Bulldog, Rottweiler or German Shephard?
*laughs evilly* :D

You have comprimised the crime scene, and you searched my thread without a warrent from Nate, there for the "evidence" is groundless.

Also i'd like to be mualed by a cho-wowa. (not sure how to spell that)

That wasn't one of the choices offered.
Fine, I'll help you pick.

Have you by any chance read "cherub" cause there's a massive rottweiler in there and I think it's called Fluffy.

Ah, Jason, I see you've met our wonderful *cough* Greeter, Meep(:.

I'm Lily, howdy-doody?

Liking basketball, surfing and books is so not a strange combo. Try liking football (or soccer, whatever you call it), chess, books, AND singing!

Oh, which reminds me. You can't use capslocked sentences here, either. And vulgar words are confined to the Literature Forums. And chatspeak here is like spitting on a tomb. The spirits will come and haunt you if you chatspeak! Except 'lol', I think.

So what kind of stories and poems do you write? If you write one, don't hesitate to ask me to critique, because I'm trying to get my review count up *cough* very desperate *cough*. :D

Welcome to the site, hope you enjoy it!

Cheers,
Lily.
