Have you ever felt that your mind gets clogged with thoughts and emotions that blaze by faster than you can get a hold and process them? Instead they get stacked upon eachother into one growing pile of unfinished, useless crap. Put away somewhere dark while, dazed, your mind gasps and tries to catch breath but staggers and drops whatever you were thinking of once again. Meanwhile you're just sitting there staring stupidly forward behind a thick mist of blurred perceptions. Not really being able to pin down what's moving inside, actually feeling empty. Full of thoughts and burning emotion but still feeling empty. That's a paradox, I guess it's what you call blinded by the speed, hours pass and you remain seated.

Am I too old for this forum? I feel like a young writer. I´m not experienced, I have never got a work of my own published but still fantasize of having it one day. 21 years old, but I have a lot to learn and I am eager. I've tried some pages and forums from Sweden (I mainly write in swedish), always migrating to find a place to share and learn and get my work dissected and judged. I still have high hopes of finding it, and I like the looks of this place. Apart from writing I enjoy reading and music and cutting work to waste time.

In other words - I´m a lazy bastard who thinks too much. :)

Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hey there!

Welcome to YWS! :)

My name's Max. Nice to meet you!

I lived in Sweden for a few years when I was a kid. I loved it! The weather was great and the people there were even better! :D Though I still remember twisting my ankle when I jumped down into a bunch of balls(those colourful plastic ones) in an indoor playground in Burger King.
Ah... The memories...
I miss Sweden. :(

Haha. Enough about me. What genres do you write? In YWS, everything has its place! :D

And of course you're not too old! Anyone who's young at heart is considered young! ^^

Ah yes. Please remember to give 2 reviews for every story you post. And also go to the 'Rules and Guides' in the 'Help and Support' section. :) It'll help you if you have any questions about this site. ^^

PM me if you want to have a chat or want me to give you a review. I'd be glad to!

Seeya 'round!

-Max.

Hi!! I'm Brooke aka blacktiger. It's nice to meet you. I say if you are young at heart and love writing, it doesn't matter what age you are. Anyway, if you have an questios or just need a friend, I'm always here for you! Best wishes and good luck. Peace 8)

Hey there. Welcome to YWS. Age means nothing here.....to a certain extent. Check out the many forums. They all are fun. If you are into RPG's then try storybooks. If you like Sci-Fi, obviously the Sci-Fi forum is the place to go. You should review two works before you post in the forums though. It's a nice thing to do. If you any questions or comments, feel free to PM me. I'll be happy to answer them.

Hi and welcome! The site is for those who are 13 to 25, so you're fine. However, if you want, check out The Writer's Society, the smaller sister site for writers 18+.

Anyway, HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE'S YOUR GIFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course we'd love to read it!
We're just a PM away!

:D

Remember the 2 reviews per story!
If I'm not wrong.. A review consists of 250 characters or more. Yeah.
I think so.
If I'm wrong, my apologies.

Hey Max! Long time no see!

And hello Kakburken! Haven't had a Swede on here for a while - well, you're the first I've encountered. (I'm British Chinese, BTW.) Good to meet you! *handshake*

Your welcome message was very funny and original. Now, what genres do you read or write in? I'm a crime writer myself, but recently I've started reading some great war literature, like Birdsong and Atonement. They're two excellent reads! Do you have any hobbies or interests? Me, I enjoy cycling, socialising, public speaking and modern languages. (Is Swedish difficult to learn? I mean, a-ha and Abba were Swedes and they seemed to cope with English...)

Look forward to reading some of your stuff!

See you around!

Välkommen!

Yay! A fellow Fennoscandian! As you can see, I'm från Finland, your neighbour, that is to say :) And if you feel like a young writer, young writer shall it be. Haha.

I can hardly resist the temptation to write you in Swedish, you know. But I can't do that, because no one else would understand and then they'd get unhappy... Aaah I can't stand this! I just have to get on with it...

Like you, English isn't my "national writing language", either. I write in Finnish, and then translate it in English. But I do write sometimes poems in English.

Well, I'll get back to you. Ha det bra (mwahaha) and remember to check the rules! Vi ses! (mwahaha)
