Well, my name is Jack and I have been writing a lot as of late. I am 17 years old, out of high school, and living with my girlfriend. I am currently writing a novel with a target audience of teenagers. I am still trying to find out what type of writer I am, if you know what I mean. I am very creative, but I never wrote a lot when I was in school. So, when I post some of my work, don't kill me.

What genre is your novel? There is a Novelists usergroup, you might want to join it for tips and talking with other novelists. You'll find it in Community --> YWS Groups --> The Novelists.
Also, seeing that you're a new member, it'd be best for you to check out the About section, there are rules and FAQ and other helpful stuff to help you get started.

Hi Jack!! Kudos to you for writing a novel! Quite frankly, I can barely write five pages of a story. Also quite frankly, I will not critique it because I'm useless in that department. Don't be nervous about posting your work though. People won't kill you.
