Hello fellow writers! I'm 11, blonde, and a girl! I hope you enjoy my story, Lizzie. It took me a long time to write this, and though it's only a few chapters, my heart and soul went into this. Please enjoy.

Welcome to YWS!

When posting your stories, please keep in mind that we have a policy that for every one story you post, you should review two things. I would suggest that if you haven't, you read the rules, FAQs, guidelines, and other random but helpful things around the site.

If you have any questions or need help with something around the site, feel free to PM me! What kind of story is Lizzie? What genre is it? And what do you like to read? I'm nosy. ^_^

Enjoy the site!

Everyone, if you are wondering what Lizzie is like, I will tell you. It is set in the 1870's, in a rural Eastern town in Iowa or something. A young woman named Lizzie finds her way in the world by making mistakes, falling in love, and being herself. It's not as cheesy as it sounds, believe me!

Hi there from England!

Welcome to YWS! I'm Gahks (that's pronounced 'garks'); glad to meet you!

Lizzie appears to be a historical fiction piece so I presume that's what you're into. I'm a crime buff myself, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who'd be interested to read your work! (Myself included perhaps!)

Do you have any hobbies or interests? I enjoy cycling, languages and drama: how about you?

Feel free to PM me if anything's on your mind.

See you around!

Gahks

Hi there – may I call you Scottie? :) I'm Demeter.

Wow, you're eleven. I was once eleven, too... O tempora. No, really, I think it's awesome that younger people find their way to YWS, too! I'm getting bored to all these seniors. Haha. Just kidding.

Your story sounds interesting, I could have a look on it some time! Have you written anything else or have you just been devoted to Lizzie? I'm at my best in fiction, but I do write poems, too. And columns/articles. I'd like to be a journalist. And author, of course! :D

Hmm... I think the others have already pointed out all that technical stuff, so there isn't much for me to do, anymore. Besides making you feel welcome and cozy!

So, I hope you'll enjoy the site as much as I do. Have a superb time!

Best wishes
Demeter xx
