Wow, you're Chinese! That's great! What's it like in there?
Welcome to YWS. I like your name, by the way And don't worry about your English, this is a great place for developing your skills both in English and in writing I'm not a native English speaker either, so I sometimes make mistakes, too.
So what do you write? Have a wonderful time!

Demeter: I'm having a writer's block right now...I write short stories but I really want to try long ones! They seem so exciting^^ Being a Chinese, I must say I love writing in a second language. And what's it like in here? I feel warmth everywhere!! You will soon see my writing, I'm sure.
Church: Thanks for your message! All of you seem so friendly here.

I did a little bit of Chinese at school, but then changed and now I'm doing Japanese.
I loved learning about the culture and history of China. It's so interesting, much more interesting than most other countries.
What do you like to read and write? Fantasy, sci-fi, romance, etc?
I look forward to seeing you around!
PM me if you need anything,

*Don't expect to see me around much in the next couple of weeks. School has started again, and it'll be a couple of weeks before I've settled in. If you've asked me for a critique, you will get it, but not for a little while. Sorry*
Chocoholic:
You did Chinese! Wow...I always thought it's hard for people from other countries to learn Chinese. Especially the writing style, you know. I'm glad you love learning about our culture and history. If you have questions, ask me and maybe I can help! I like reading novels---bestsellers, teen fiction sometimes. I read English more than my own language, actually.

Hey Lorraine, nai ho from a fellow Chinese person (albeit a British born and bred one, mind). Dai ga ho!
What sort of stuff do you like to read/write? I'm really into writing poetry at the moment, but am also doing a crime story at the moment. Do you have any particular hobbies or interests?
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!
Welcome once again!

I'm glad you liked Hong kong(I don't often take the MTR--it's too crowded)
Gahks: Great to meet a Chinese person!! You speak Cantonese?? I used to read Neil Gaiman but now I'm enjoying Jodi Picoult's novels. One of my hobbies is music--I always practise singing, and many things make me slightly out of the place at school. I'm struggling to write short stories right now, but they all seem a bit weird.

Wow. It's really great to meet someone from other countries.
I hope that China is regaining it's strength now judging by the news about the earthquake.
I hope to be friends with you.
