Hi everyone! I'm Alex, or 30MarsBars, or whatever else you might want to call me. I enjoy all forms of writing and I was looking for people around the same age who share that interest, and I came across this place.

What genres do you like? Have you taken any creative writing courses? (If you have, I am jealous. Stupid french school. =_=)

My favourite genres are fantasy and romance. I've never taken any courses, but two teachers in my school set up a writing group and I'm in that. We enter competitions and stuff, it's good fun!

Fantasy? *perks up* A subject near and dear to my heart.

Ah, you are in the perfect spot for your interests. I have been members of writing sites before, but this is the best by far. Everyone is really helpful, and it's a peer group. We do stupid stuff sometimes, but we all love writing and that's what the site is about!

I love 30STM! It's where my username comes from actually. It was way back when I first discovered them, and I couldn't remember what they were called ...I knew it had 30 in it...and something to do with Mars...and 30 Mars Bars was the first thing that came into my head. It's stuck ever since!
