Young Writers Society

Howdy!

My name is Elise and I am new to YWS. I used to write a lot, but stopped nearing 3 years ago. In my new search to find myself again I am exploring old hobbies of mine and writing is the top priority. I've been doing a lot of beginner writing exercises and have been so excited with everything that is coming from it. I want to continue to grow. That being said, I am so excited to be here to not only assist in other's growth in writing, but to be able to grow myself.

A few facts about me:
-I am from Alabama, but reside now in ATX
-I play guitar and sing
-I have a 2 year old boy named Grey
-I have a dog named Aura June
-I am an INFJ
-I work in property management
-I am a crazy plant lady (and all of my plants are humanized with real people names. i.e. Jerry, Poppy, Lola, Carlos, Miranda, & Sophia.)

I can't wait to make writer friends!

Jerry is a snake plant. Poppy is a white jasmine. Miranda is a country girl chrysanthemum (she won't bloom until October with white blooms.) Sophia is a sapphire sage. & Carlos is a mexican honeysuckle. They are all perennials! I had no idea that I had a green thumb until I got Jerry and realized how relaxing it was tending to him. But...he requires literally no care besides water once a month. So then I slowly tacked on all of the others. I am leaving town next weekend and actually had to find a plant sitter...
