@mckeownm: When you reply to a comment and you quote to cite which one, it doesn't notify the user. So if you're having a conversation of some sort, they won't know you replied. This is easily fixed by typing out their username with a little @ at the front, like I did with yours. This is referred to as 'tagging.'
