Hey, there, everyone. My name is DoctorSmileaway, and I love to write . . . as you may have already guessed. I generally like writing darker, more intense stories and descriptive poetry. As for genres, I usually write something that falls between fantasy, science fiction, and a bit of suspense/thriller/action sort of thing. As far as my "career", I've been writing for about five years, often as a hobby or something to do in my spare time, but I'm hoping to grow it a bit more and write full books and whatnot.

I look forward to writing/reading stories and poetry. Thanks for taking the time to read my little intro. :)

A poetry lover <33!

Yay!

We could always use more poetry people on YWS. You'll find yourself right at home among our ranks. Just about everyone has something or another to do with poetry because it's shorter to read, which means just about everyone reads and reviews it at some point. A lot of poets get into the featured work spots because of that too, though there is some resistance from our Noveling Neighbors.

Glad to have another friendly face with us! If you want any introductions to the lot, feel free to PM me asking for poetry details. I love to talk shop.
