Grayson

I shake my head, "You won't get the chance. What do you want her for anyway?"

Riley

"I can't tell you," He says before forming black fire in his hands, "Now step away from the child."

Grayson

"Never," I say. "You'll only get her when I'm dead."

Riley

I swallow at he chuckles, "So be it."

I stand infront of Gray and shake my head, "Dont even try. My mom would come and kick your sorry a*s."

He chuckles, "You mean the mom you rejected?"

I take a step back, How does he know...?

*amazed face* Just had a thought here. What if Jace and Rayah were the ones who came to save them? Like.. it would add to the drama, making Riley feel kind of guilty for pushing them away, and then be awkward afterwards...o.O

Grayson

I pull Riley gently behind me and ready to pause time, to make for a quick escape, only to realize I can't.

Riley

I back up on the bed, someone appearing behind me. I scream and find its my parents. They cover my mouth, hushing me, before my mom stands beside Gray with my dad, "Who is he?"

The man smirks, winking at her, and she makes a face before flipping him off.

Grayson

I freeze when her parents show up, not understanding why, after everything, they'd show up, "He's after our daughter."

Riley

She hesitates before glancing back at Mariah and shaking her head, forming fire in her hands, "It's highschool all over again..."

Grayson

I move back to Riley and Mariah and take them in my arms, her father creating blue light in his hands and looking at his wife, "Wait... when did this happen to us?"

Riley

I hide behind Gray and my mom shakes her head, "I mean, for me. Before I met you."

The man just stares at them, shaking his head before my mom throws a fireball at him. He freaks out, trying to put it out.

Grayson

Her father almost pouts, but focuses on the fight, creating a light shield around Riley, Mariah, and me.

Riley

My mom runs for him, grabbing his arm and flipping him over her head. He lands on a table, moaning, while she pins him down, "What do you want?"

Grayson

Her father stays with us, not risking the shield, in knowing that his wife has complete control.

Riley

He doesn't answer and she knocks his uncontious. Stepping back before looking at us with crossed arms. I stay silent. D*mn...

Grayson

I raise my eyebrows, glancing at Riley. Her father lowers the shield and joins his wife without a word.
