Bartender's Son

"Ari," I smile, watching her. "Name's Daniel, but you can call me Danny."

Ari

"Well, nice to meet you, Danny," I replied. "You wouldn't happen to know a nine-letter word for 'cliff,' would you?"

Cassidy

Rayah came and sat next to me flashing a smile at the bartender's son and Ari. "You probrably know who this is but just in case..." I smiled. "This is Rayah, Daughter of Aphrodite, famous in Olympus." I tell them.

She sees whiskey and smiles, "Uh, Yea can I have some of that?" She asks, smiling wider.

Why would I know the daughter of....

"Aphrodite? You're saying that you two are spawn of Greek myth?" I ask, pouring the whiskey for the second while thinking of how to answer Ari's question.

I get it and look at Ari.

"Try 'precipice'," I smile.

Cassidy

"Yeaaah...We're just awesome like that." Rayah says, dowing the whiskey with one take. I look at her, wide-eyed. She shrugs, "I've been fighting, gimme' a break." She flashes one of her best smiles.

I sigh and shake my head at her, "Yeah."

Ari

"Precipice, that's it," I said, jotting down the answer. "Thanks, Danny."

Meanwhile, Rayah chugged her whiskey. "I've been fighting, give me a break," she chuckled.

"Um..." I began, unsure of how to react to that. "What do you fight, exactly? Is it anything I've seen before?"

Cassidy

Rayah looks over at Ari and chuckles, setting her feet up on the bar. "In a war, Girlie." She nods, ordering another drink.

I sigh and look at her, "Are you alright."

She nods, grinning, "Hell yeah."

Bartender's Son (aka. Danny)

I smile at Ari and listen to their conversations, sipping on my whiskey and refilling their drinks when needed.

Cassidy

I look over at th bartender's son.

A smirk escapes Rayah's lips and she looks at him too. "So," She begins. "What's your name, pretty boy?" She asks, taking a sip of her whiskey and slipping her leather jacket on.

The last girl to arrive asks for my name and I smile, redirecting my charm.

"You lovely ladies can call me Danny," I say, "I think I know everyone's but your name."

I point at the girl in the middle.

Cassidy

I smile back at him, "Cass." I say, "Or Cassie, Or Cassidy."

Rayah punches me in the arm, "Nervous?" She smirks.

I blush, "Uh, What?! No..." I say, looking down.

She shrugs and kicks her booted feet back up on the counter, humming a song.

Ari

I stifled a laugh when Cass started humming. Her whole exchange with Rayah had been really funny, but I didn't want to embarrass her any more than Rayah had.

"A war?" I repeated, turning to Rayah. "...This is a weird question, but...it's a war in this dimension, right? Not some other dimension?"

Cassidy

I look up at Rayah, Seeing how annoyed she's getting.

"A war in Olympus against Hades. You probrably wouldn't have heard of it..." She grinned.

"Rayah!" I say, surprised.

She chuckles, downing another drink. "It's stupid." She mutters, twirling one of her ringlets in her hand.

Danny

The Rayah girl mutters an insult to Ari and I decide to stay out of it and change the subject, leaning against the counter and swirling my drink.

"So...any of you ladies taken?" I smile.

Rayah

I look up at him, "Nope."

Rayah shrugs, "Don't know actually. Haven't really had a real boyfriend." She chuckles.
