Dylan

I study her before reading a little bit further, "Apparently. Why?"

Ruby

I sigh, looking down, "'Cause I'm the princess there."

Dylan

Wait...what? I scan over the next few pages but find nothing, "Oh... okay."

Ruby

I nod, "Won't be in the book," I say in a small voice, "I'm not known to people."

Dylan

I look at her and nod, still holding the notebook open in my hands, "He...he'd talk about a kingdom the last time I saw him. But he was never specific."

Ruby

I nod, "S'probrably Pearl," I flash a small smile.

Dylan

I remember the last thing Roan said to me. 'Kings, Queens, Princesses, and Princes still exist, and I'm not talking about the ones in Britain, Lyn. There's a castle out there, a kingdom of people, and things like they used to be. I've seen it.'

Looking back down at the book, I run a thumb over some of his handwriting and remember where he was before he disappeared.

"I hope so," I whisper, "Wherever it was... it drove him mad."

Ruby

I study him, "What happened to him? If you don't mind me asking..."

Dylan

I hesitate, "He just disappeared."

Ruby

I think about it, "Did he talk to you about Pearl before he left?"

Dylan

I nod, ordering another drink, "A little."

Ruby

I bite my lip, "You should check there..."

Dylan

I look back at her, "I don't know where it is."

Ruby

I sigh and order another water, "Well...That sucks."

Dylan

I nod and focus back on my drink. You have no idea...
