Ooh, very nice bookslug. Let's see if I can be of any help here. I don't have to much photography experience but I can tell you if a picture is pretty or not! I'll leave the professional critiques to someone cool.

PICTURE ONE: This one is a little blurry, and I feel like it doesn't have a real focus. Rather, it just looks like a petal. Maybe show more of the picture and give it a focal point.

PICTURE TWO: Ah, I like this one! It's very natural. There might be a little too much dead space near the top of the photo, but that's all I can find.

PICTURE THREE: Ah, this is very pretty!

PICTURE FOUR: This one doesn't really suit to my taste, maybe because the biggest focal point is a dead, brown leaf with a fly on it. I like how it isn't centered though.

PICTURE FIVE: Is this taken underwater? The light seems to hint at that. I think this is very cute, and I don't really see anything wrong with it.

PICTURE SIX: Pretty. I think it would look better slightly closer though because the blurry background takes up a lot of space.

PICTURE SEVEN: The flower thing in the back is nice, but the giant blur near the front doesn't do it for me.

PICTURE EIGHT: This is just blurry. Not the best picture.

OVERALL: Good job! I liked picture two and three the best because they were the least blurry and had interesting subjects. I think maybe you should work on where to center the camera, but that's just me. Keep it up!

Cool thank you very much :) That was really useful. I understand that some of them are blurry :) The one that looks underwater was just under some cool light which I adored. Picture number 1 was sorta me experimenting with photoshop, which i'm rubbish at. picture 4 was simply taking it because i like insects :) picture 8 was sort of trying to get most of it blurred and then one peral in focus? not sure if it actually worked...
thanks so much!

I liked the pictures and i loved how you used depth of field. I read the persons comment before mine and started laughing, not blur depth of field. :) Liked all the pics exept the last one, maybe you could have focused it on the flower a little bit more.

Ah thank you :)
Yeah, I agree with the last one! I was sorta experimenting with different focuses.

I like these pictures. The last one excpecialy. I like how you blured out some of it leaving our eyes to focus on the subject of the photo. Good Job!

These are some wonderful pictures, I would say.
That pink flower has to be my favorite. I love how it looks kind of pastel-ish, with soft colors.

I just love how you caught that splashing water right at the perfect moment. It reminds me of those Asian Carp that jump up out of the water when a boat rides by them. It drives them crazy.

The blue flower? Amazing. The way you have it focused on the flower closest to you, and the other one just slightly burred, is beautiful. You did a wonderful job.

Hey there, Bookslug! Nice to meet you.

Okay, so you have some really great photos here...let's do a quick overview of each one, 'kay?
Picture One: This is completely beautiful. It has a majestic look to it, and that's brilliant! The only thing I would say is it looks a tad fuzzy, if you know what I mean. ;)
Picture Two: Whoa! Nothing to say except that I love, love, love this one!
Picture Three: This is one of my favorites. I loved the angle, the framing, and the focus. You captured the water beautifully.
Picture Four: I really don't like this one. It has no meaning, it's just sort of there.
Picture Five: Aw, what can I say? Such a cute kid to take photos of! Great capture.
Picture Six: Definitely my favorite. I love how you focused on that one single flower. Great DOF (depth of focus).
Picture Seven: I don't like this at all. It seems like an accidental picture, and the angle is all wrong. I'd focus on the flower. What's with the dead leaf?
Picture Eight: I see what you were trying to do with this, but I don't really like it. A different angle would have meant a much better picture.

Okay, so basically, these are very nice. Be sure to practice on different angles!

Luffly job,
Mizz
