Appearance: Jake is tall with an even 6 feet to his name. With dark, almost black brown hair, the only trait he shares with Macy is their hazel eyes.
Jake usually wears jeans and a t-shirt, preferring to be able to move and durability over fashion.
Personality: Jake will do anything and everything to protect his baby sister and it drives him crazy with worry that she constantly throws herself into dangerous situations. He is pragmatic about losses, he's been doing this long enough that while he isn't totally numb to it, he knows that it's a part of the job. The day he lost his father was the last time he had a major breakdown over losing someone and he dreads the day he might lose Macy.
Up for Romance: He's a little busy looking after Macy, but he has been known to date from time to time, he's straight.
Backstory: Jake doesn't really remember a time when Macy didn't live without them. As a kid he thought it was a little weird that she would glow faintly every now and again, but figured that it was probably par for the course as his dad didn't really comment on it except to tell him to keep it a secret and eventually, she stopped doing it.
He was introduced to the idea of ghost hunting at around age 10 and at first it was a fun activity that he and his dad did together. Then it got more and more serious and Jake and his dad spent more and more time dedicated to it.
Then his world got flipped upside down when his dad died on on of their hunts. He wasn't sure exactly what he should do, but he knew he couldn't loose Macy, so he grabbed her and took to the road. He did his best to keep her out of it and nearly had a panic attack when he saw her being attacked by the newest ghost he was hunting.
He doesn't remember much of the attack either, he knows Macy threw her hands up in front of her face, knew she had started glowing again, the first time she had done it since she was a toddler, and then he woke up on the ground. He carried her back to their hotel room and they've worked as a unit ever since since he figured it would be easier to keep an eye on her if she was by his side.
Other: Jake also doesn't know Macy is not fully human, but he has his suspicions.
