I just looked it up. Apparently it's because you are mainly asking a question that you are just saying loudly.

How should I rewrite this sentence for my NaNo?

Everyone on the table except for Kelly and Greg burst into a roar of chaotic shouts.

1) The whole table burst into a cacophony of chaotic shouts, all except for Kelly and Greg.
2) Everyone at the lunch table burst into roars of chaotic screaming, except for Kelly and Greg.

Or should I combine the two?

All these reposts of the YWS birthday thing is simultaneously making me feel really old and really young.

Okay, seriously though. Why is it ?! and not !?...? I like the way !? looks better than ?!.

I feel like my first chapter of my NaNo story is way too long. (I'm still writing it.) It's giving away basically all the plot.

Of course, I'm a pantser who usually reorganizes chapters and sections in those chapters pretty much every week, so I should cut myself some slack. I'll reorganize everything when I have the first draft completely written. (Or if something just really isn't working so I have to swap some stuff around.)

At least for today. It's not hard since my end goal is only a word count of 10,000, not 50,000.

Now I can finally sleeeeeeeep!!! (Although it's not even that late. I'm just tired. ;P)
