i like you, we must be friends since you like to rp and i like to rp. as everyone said, storybooks are a good way to do that. they are quite fun and stuff.

Hi soundofmind! First of, welcome to YWS <3 it's so nice to see another rpger being so excited! Storybooks are definitely the place to rpg on YWS, and I'm a mod of that forum
It's like my little baby so if you have any questions just pester me I won't bite!much
Generally, there's tags right next to Storybooks that show whether or not they're accepting new people (that's in green) or closed (that's in dark blue).
I would personally recommend Oceanside Academy for the... Eccentric if you want to dive right into a Storybook! It was just created and it seems like a great place to start.
If you don't want to actually go straight into Storybooks (they're pretty different than a lot of the rpgs I used to do before YWS) than I suggest you just float around in the Character Chit-Chat forum. There you can just do good old-fashioned role play with any character you like!

soundofmind Thank you so much! It's great to meet another rpger as well! I'm so happy you came to talk to me! I think I might try the Character Chit-Chat forums first, just to dip my toe in. I'll take a tool at the Oceanside Academy though! It sounds like it might be really interesting!
How often do you rp in the forums? Is it alright to ask how it went for you starting out? I'm just curious to know how you got involved and how things went for you. : )

Omni Oh my I've been rp-ing (rpg? I'm weird sorry, it's rp I don't know why I did that xD) for a long long time. I think almost seven years now? It's a really fun way to write for me, I love working with others and collaborating.
I joined YWS back late 2011 but didn't even know about the Storybook forum (we call it SB forum hehe) until late 2012-early 2013. I've been actively involved (more or less) in the forum since then! I've been a moderator of the forum since mid-2014 because I love the forum just so darn much xD
