  • My mum bought an egg chair for the garden, and we put it together today, and it's so good. I decided to pick up my book while my mum was upstairs and stole a moment to read while sitting in it. It put me in a really relaxed comfy position to read. I'm seriously wondering if they have indoor egg chairs because I need this all year round :D

BluesClues I have an indoor egg chair! Or at least an egg chair that I keep indoors, whether or not it was originally intended for indoor use.

  • On the first of May, I completed a full year of writing 100 words a day. I seriously can't believe I achieved it and looking at my word count makes it feel so real. 88, 364 words total, but I want my goal for the next year to be 100,000 words. I like a challenge so here's hoping for another successful year.

The picture below is my monthly word count and above, and out of the picture, is my daily word count :)

  • Ah, the Great British weather! Gotta love having 20-degree heat, no clouds, lovely sunshine one week and overcast, rainy 6-degree heat the next.

  • I went to my dodie concert yesterday, and it was so good! I was one of the first 200 (out of 1000 standing) people in the queue outside, and I was really close to the front, about a metre or two. Unfortunately, being the fully grown munchkin that I am, I still couldn't see much, but that's okay. The support acts were great, and dodie was brilliant as per usual. All of us in the audience were singing along and dancing, it was such a good vibe. dodie also sang us some new songs which were really cool. I was really worried about it being a standing concert because last time I got overheated and really sick but that didn't happen, so I'm grateful. I definitely think it will be a moment to cherish :D

  • When you realise your last review was in July... wow. Oops. I didn't realise it had been quite so long XD And what am I going to do about that you may ask? Umm, probably not much, though I might be able to participate in review days now I have fewer weekend shifts.

  • So, I probably haven't mentioned this, but I leave my work on Monday, and I'm not sorry to go. Though I feel bad for the colleagues, who have to pick up my bakery shifts because the majority of them aren't properly trained. I was training on of them today, and she was so overwhelmed by all the information. She's only had two shifts, the first one wasn't very good by the sounds of it, she kept saying "They didn't tell me that,". I think she's expected to start next week and I don't think she's going to cope very well. I wish my managers had some sense between them, they have known I wanted to leave since January, and yet they did nothing until it was too late.

On a positive note, Monday means I'm back home with my mum, and I'm so happy. 10 months with my granny was starting to get to us both XD I have bought loads of new stuff for my room, and I'm really happy with it. Got a few more bit to come and need to get more storage, I have more shoes than I know what to do it!

  • My laptop was making funny noises and being really slow to the point I had to force it to shut down. I think I might flip if this laptop breaks on me as well :(

  • You know when you find an album that you just can't stop listening and you know it will never get old. Yeah, that's me with Light's album Skin and Earth... it's just so good! I've been listening to it non stop for several days.

  • I just bought two pairs of Doc Martens and I have no regrets. I mean one pair was glittery and purple and beautiful <3 so excited...

  • I think I may just have finished my Awaken the Phoenix rewrite... it's was pretty anticlimactic. But I managed to sort out the end of the book without too much trouble and it ended how I originally planned. It still needs loads of work though I now have a basic plot I'm happy with, in the point of view I'm happy with. I definitely need to read it through because I knew the original like the back of my hand and now I'm like "Should I add this is or did I get rid of the scene it was connected to?" Answer: probably got rid of it. I'm down twenty thousand words from the original :/ Now, I have no idea what to move on to, most of my book ideas/rewrites are currently in planning but I was thinking maybe rewriting what I have of the second book to the Awaken series. The first few chapters will follow on from the end of Awaken the Phoenix so it should be relatively safe to start. I have a week and a bit off work so I hope to get planning for my other works.
