I finally got around to updating my 100 words daily board and realised that I reached my goal of 100k over a year! I didn't think I was going to reach it but I actually wrote more while in Tanzania than I normally do at home. I'm so happy with my progress I wonder what goal I should set myself this is year?
PrincessInk Congrats! Woohoo! (P.S. good avatar taste as always )

I'm back!
These past 10 weeks have flown by in a blur but I really enjoyed my volunteering in Tanzania. I have so many memories and a whole load of new friends. Glad to be back in England though and to be with my family again. It really weird having all of my stuff back and it has made me realise how much I take it all for granted. I never thought of my hot shower as a luxury but 10 weeks of cold bucket showers had changed my mind I already miss all of my group and I'm excited to see everyone again for all the things we have planned!
Mageheart Welcome back! <3

Finally got around to changing up my wall design after 2 mouths of the same thing
I feel surprisingly good despite the fact I've been jabbed with needles twice in two days. I had my first ever blood test yesterday and as you may know, I'm terrified of needles. I'm specifically terrified of blood tests, it's something about that part of my arm, but actually, it was alright. After getting my yellow fever jab today I can definitely conclude that blood tests are slightly better than jabs, though still yucky. My mum kept being very nurse-like and making me laugh by telling me I had "big, juicy veins". Once a nurse, always a nurse... XD
AlexOfLight I too am afraid of needles and blood tests are the worst to me.

I have a few more hours left of this year to go but I'm amazed at how quickly it's gone.
Things I've done:
- I left my old job and have been in my current one for 9 months
- I'm 8 months into my second year of 100 words daily and I'm on course to beat last years yearly word count
- I reached 600 posts on my 100WD topic
- I got accepted into a volunteering project
- I finally finished the newest draft of Awaken the Phoenix
It hasn't been a particularly eventful year but I think 2019 will make up for that because:
- I turn 21 in a week and I get to go up the Shard for my birthday treat
- I travel to Tanzania in March for 10 weeks and then I get back I get to organise a project in my local community as part of my action at home.
- Once I get back I need to figure out what's next
- I'll hopefully get my butt into gear and finish editing AoP
- I'll get the Cursed King finished and ready for editing
-
I have been so quiet lately on here. It seems like I'm dead but I promise you I'm not. Work has picked up my hours, I'm halfway through my fundraising goal and still writing every day. Currently working on my new novel, The Cursed King, and I'm coming up to 20k. I think I might also be able to break 100k on my yearly word count for 100 words daily.
On the downside, my acne's dropped to an all-time low, currently have a massive spot on my face with four whiteheads on it (I feel like it's about to start talking to me) and a patch of smaller, itchy painful spots on the other side. I seriously don't know what to do anymore, nothing is working :/
I also have my second lot of jabs tomorrow for when I travel to Tanzania in March. I've had four so far, Typhoid, Meningitis and my first lots of Hepatitis A and B and Rabies. Tomorrow I have my second lot of Hepatitis and Rabies and then the final dose in the new year. I am so glad I get these free through the organisation I'm going with cause they are expensive. The Rabies and Hepatitis for only one dose were £140 and you have to have 3 doses plus the antimalarial tablets which are about £150. And I think these cover for a really long time as well so that's really good.
rosette have you heard of curology? everyone is gushing about their products and I know some people who have had a major improvement in their skin because of it! I haven't tried it yet but I plan on it :p my skin is pretty gross rn

My reusable straw came today! I got mine from https://netzerostraw.com/
in blue shark and there's free shipping worldwide. It folds down into 4 parts which go into the little blue case and makes it easy to carry around with you. If you're someone who loves sealife as much as I do then I would definitely recommend you buy one #savetheturtles
wakarimasen I would love reusable straws... I guess what's keeping me from getting one is the fear that it'd get mouldy inside and I wouldn't know.

Last night was incredible! I went to see BTS live in the o2 arena with my brother and it was amazing. I now have a very sore throat from screaming and singing at the top of my lung. There so many lightsticks as well and it's so beautiful to see them changing to the music. During best of me, they said, "This one's for you army" and the lightsticks change to purple and I almost cried. I'm so sad that Kookie couldn't perform but it was really beautiful to the other members dancing around him and trying to include him :') Ah, I had such a good time!

Once again I forgot it was my cake day yesterday. I was really confused when I logged in to find people had posted on my wall and then I realised. I can't believe it's been 2 years since I joined.
