Hey! I've read all your recent reviews on The Progeny and I will reply to them all in full tomorrow, I just don't have time right now. I really appreciate your feedback and when I get your reviews it makes me knuckle down and edit so thank you for that! I need the push!
Anyway, I'm applying for Uni next year and I need to make a portfolio of my work. I want to use some chapters/scenes from The Progeny so if there are any specific parts that you think are good and stand out from the rest of it please let me know, it'd really help me decide what to use
megsug Thanks! There's really no excuse for why it's taken me so long :p I'm sorry about that. No rush on those replies!
I'll definitely think about it and tell you what I think. I'm going to try to finish what you have today or tomorrow. Then I'll tell you what chapters I think are best.

Poetry Wars is looking for voters!
This is your chance to say which type of poetry you like better, so check out the two poems in the Battle Thread: Poetry Wars: The Battle, Updated:8-5 and decide which contestant you think did a better job!
This week, for the first time ever, we have someone coming back for more! @DragonWriter22 is a former competitor who has gone up against the formidable @bluewaterlily who ended up taking the competition back in week one . Now, they are going up against the recent-spotlighter @Kaos who entered this poem at the start of these competitions. Come see how these two brutes face off against one another in this week's duel of spaces. Kaos has a strong poem, but will it be enough to beat experience? Your vote could decide their fate!
Once you're done, head on over to the main thread of Poetry Wars and offer up your own poem as sacrafice for a chance to be pitted against other competitors.
The next round and the results of this round will be out next week, so get voting while the getting's good. You can even choose to offer yourself as a guest judge if you're eager to share all your thoughts on a subject and get the inside scoop of Poetry Wars.

I stayed up until 3 in the morning finishing a book last night, and I forgot the buzz I get right after doing something like that. Especially if it's a book I can really get into and enjoy (why would I stay up otherwise?). I was able to make up for it by sleeping until 11:30 >.> which would normally make me feel like a slug, but today I've felt great!
Magic of books I guess.
Mea I did that last night, too! (Though not nearly so late.) It's the best feeling.

Just came back from seeing the third Star Trek movie, and I wasn't disappointed. I thought some Bones/Spock interaction was lacking in the last two, and they made up for that! Seeing Chekov was a little sad since his actor died recently. It's really unfortunate...
But yeah. Great movie.
Sonder Yeah, I felt down about Chekhov the whole movie because he had so much ahead of him as a young man/ actor. But it was so well done and the character interactions were great.

megsug I felt the same way. He was very talented.
I was really worried because you know... The third movie is usually pretty crappy as far as movie series go, but it was lovely. I started watching the original series for the first time last month, and it's so different to watch the film and understand all of the references.
