The story of Nicole

I do believe it's time to update my bio, considering the last time I did was seven years ago...
I’m in university completing an English major with a minor in history. I would rather be writing fulltime, considering that’s all I do in class. I work at a bookstore (BESTJOB EVER) and manage the Teen Section. My dream is to get my book published in the next five years. I’ve been working on the same novel for NINE years, it went from fairies to mermaids to real people but I’ve never felt this satisfied with it until now. My favorite books are: Before I Fall – Lauren Oliver, Choker – Elizabeth Woods, Dangerous Girls – Abbigail Haas, Beautiful Lies –Jessica Warman, Harry Potter – J.K. Rowling, The Chemical Garden Trilogy – Lauren DeStefano, Interment Chronicles – Lauren DeStefano, The Secret Diamond Sisters – Michelle Madow and The Museum of Intangible Things - Wendy Wunder. My guilty pleasures include endless amounts of Glee fan-fiction and Ben & Jerry's ice cream. I own over 400 books and they’re all organized in alphabetical order by genre… I’m a tad obsessive. My biggest accomplishment’s thus far is that I have two poems and a short story published and that I got hired by Indigo, because let me tell you, they’re super prestige.

It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with panelled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill —The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another.
