This is so belated. I thought that I wouldn't like Queer Eye because I'm just not into reality tv shows. I WAS SO WRONG. Holy crap it's so cute and wholesome! I'm so glad I started watching it

I wasn't expecting my ACT score to be any better than my SAT score, so I gave it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I got a 30!!! I was pretty happy with my SAT score (1310), so I didn't sweat the ACT too much. I had no idea I was going to score so much better, and I'm so damn proud of myself.

Update: Just finished season 6 of Voltron, and I still don't see Keith and Lance. (Uhhh, but Shiro and Keith?? Have you seen the chemistry?????)

Shipping aside, Hunk and Pidge are the best duo ever, and I really hope they don't force a romantic relationship. Their friendship is too amazing.

I just started watching Voltron a bit less than a week ago. I'm on season 5 at the moment, and I cannot understand why people think Lance and Keith have chemistry. Maybe it's all in season 6. I just found out about all the fandom crap with the whole thing, and it all seems a bit ridiculous to me. There have been fandoms that have actually been queerbaited, and I really don't think that this is an instance of it, let alone the realism of them actually dating. That's my 2 cents on the matter

Panikos I only watched about two seasons but I never got the insistence that there was chemistry between them - and the queerbaiting claims were just ridiculous. It's just overexaggerating shippers.

inktopus If anything, I see queerbaiting in Pidge. There was so much potential for a trans character, but they just didn't take it. I feel like they definitely could remedy that, and I would be so thrilled if they did, but I'm not going to blackmail a company about it.

Panikos I think that's more of a wasted opportunity than queerbaiting, personally. It would've been great if they'd gone for that, but I feel like to queerbait the writers have to deliberately mislead the audience for views. Still, I have only seen the first two seasons, so I don't know how Pidge has been characterised since.

zaminami So it’s not really in the show and more like the people posting on Twitter about possible relationships and things about the characters (I.e., Lance finding who he’s going to be) and fans making connections (in that season, Lance stopped flirting and had several bonding moments with Keith).

inktopus The class is about a week long (it's hosted by a university at a sort of writing summer camp). Since it's only a week, I think that it's mainly for getting started and whatnot.

Lauren2010 I think you should bring your work in progress! It sounds like a first draft, so the getting started activities will still be useful but I think you'll appreciate having some of the story already planned out during the class.

Dad, Emma Bell was Years Ago Part 2 I posted this about a week ago (somehow it avoided reviews on review day), and I'm itching to get it 2 reviews. It's the second part of a short story, so if you want to read the first part, go ahead, but if you don't, that's okay too. I just want some harsh, honest critique on this.

period tracking apps are so great. I actually feel prepared for once. (if anyone’s wondering, I use Flo, and that's a good one bc it's not focused on pregnancy like a lot are. However, it does have a pregnancy mode)

I think I've developed a pollen allergy. My nose itches and runs, and my eyes are irritated. Yayyy

Mea Ack, that isn't fun. My allergies have been killing me the past couple of weeks and it is miserable. (Loratadine is a lifesaver.)
