About fhwdf

I'm 15, I live in London and I love writing. People get annoyed with me correcting their grammar. I can't help it - misplaced apostrophes burn my eyes. The National Curriculum tells me to worship adjectives and adverbs, but I believe in religious freedom and therefore avoid them where possible. As far as I’m concerned, if an object is small and blue, call it small and blue. A character should act like a real person or they’re not worth reading about – and that includes their speech. A character who speaks like they’ve prepared their words weeks in advance is definitely hiding something.

For in everything it is no easy task to find the middle ... anyone can get angry—that is easy—or give or spend money; but to do this to the right person, to the right extent, at the right time, with the right motive, and in the right way, that is not for everyone, nor is it easy; wherefore goodness is both rare and laudable and noble.
