About dante93

My name is Michael, but many call me James or Giackino (original spelling Giaccino). I was born in Aviano, Italy and lived there for four years before moving to Michigan where I lived for two short years. From there I moved and was raised in Alabama. I am a writer who deals with the darkest aspects of humanity, who delves deep into the conscious and subconscious of the mind. I have been published in fifteen different magazines (thirty times total) and have published four books of poetry. I am also editing my first novel and am trying to get that published by the same company. They like the novel and say it could be published by this summer.

Interests

Love writing poetry, and short stories. listening to classical music, and any good type to be honest. I like the occasional drink, and I am deeply enthralled by dark literature, specifically those that delve into the darkest aspects of humanity.

Occupation

Poet, Novelist, Playwright, Essayist, Screenwriter, Editor, Scholar, Student, Orator

Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.
