  • Idk what to write
do you guys want me to write anything? maybe you want to hear me to interpret an idea in my writing style

spottedpebble Hmmm. Write about a cat that lives in a teacup. Or rewrite someone's poem (with their permission, of course) into a short story. (If you choose the latter, you have my permission. ;)) Or write something about a dying tree remembering when the forest was full of life. Or if all else fails, check out a writing prompt book/forum/anything you can find online or IRL that has writing prompts.

alpacaboss Oh my thank you so much! That is a lottt of ideas. I May actually go with the first one but the rewrite does seem interesting too. If ever, which poem of yours May I rewrite or a poem of yours you would like to see me rewrite?

  • Some prompts for writers who need ideas:
    1. You picked up a wallet from the floor. Being cheeky, you checked its contents, but discovered something unexpected.
    2. A secret note tells you to go to the arcade. It turns out someone has your favorite plushie hostage and you have to do a list of silly tasks to bring your favorite plushie back.
    3. On a train, you fall asleep. When you wake up and exit the doors, you enter a beautiful world that entices you to stay forever. But is it really all it seems? And can you ever get out?
    4. In a library, you accidentally meet your favorite book character/s hiding in one of the lesser visited aisles of the place.
    5. Every time your hair strand falls, you lose a memory. When a new strand grows, a new memory is formed or an old memory resurfaces. Apparently, your food accidentally has someone else's hair in there. And what happened next was strange.

if ever you decide to use these, please tag me hehe
I do want to see what you guys come up with this :)

  • Why are so many people writing about writer's block? That's incredibly interesting...Do people usually get writer's block around this time? (Because I have writer's block right now HAHAHA)

IcyFlame I have writer's block more often than I don't

  • For me, birthdays are 80% gratefulness, 15% happiness from the greetings, 5% existential crisis because you don't know if what you're doing is right and at the same time you feel like you just winged it your way to the age you are now and you feel so old thinking that you're supposed to be matured at this age but you're not yet you feel a sense of loneliness at the same time knowing that a whole bunch of other people just had their birthdays on the same day so is the celebration really...

(sorry random thought I had to let out. and yeah, this had poem potential lol)
(and no it's not my birthday...yet)

  • The Hero's Dilemma

New poem up! I wonder which character this would remind you off :)

  • and once more the green room was filled.
    this particular knight was thrilled.
though some works seem to be great beasts
she was fine with their release.
    alpacaboss can't wait to see
the green room again bare and free.
Yet the green room was a symphony
    of the young writer's society.
one day, she shall see that sight.
For now, she'll let her works take flight.

  • LuminescentAnt Why do you you like alpacas? Like why not llamas.

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You’re moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You’ve just crossed over into… the Twilight Zone.
