Poked my decrepit old laptop awake from the depths of its abyssal slumber to retrieve from its recesses my folder of old YWS avatars. Like sloshing through a mire of mud and rain, the trek through this digital wasteland required the full breadth of my might and patience (a mere errant stirring freed the charger from its mooring and plunged the prehistoric beast into blackness). Yet I managed it, and now I can use this nifty old avatar for a day, yay!

Btw, brackets are FAR superior to < >s since you have to hold shift for the latter, at least on my keyboard. Also why does bold have to be <strong></strong> and not just <b></b>?

Hello world! Mini Wolfi writing update C:

My honors thesis for my writing degree is a revisionist western!! It's something I've been looking forward to for a long time but now that it's here I'm mostly just stressed out about it and doubting whether it's any good. I'm also overwhelmed with other things and can't dedicate as much time/energy to it as I would've hoped. I had my first workshop with my advisor yesterday and their feedback was very very helpful but also kinda harsh.

I'm trying to get some of that old excitement back by reading my old notes for this project. It's so cool that I get to write a revisionist western for school. My high school self would be running around in circles screaming. I gotta channel that energy!!
