My Name is Night Kaizer

Hey. If you’re reading this, you probably searched up posts related to “villainy” and such. If you go by the dictionary definition, just know that synonyms like criminal, thief, and bad guy don’t even come close to describing us. Villains.
Voldemort may have been the evil dude and Harry Potter the good. I don’t frickin’ care. My parents died when I was five. Now, I can barely remember what my mother looks like, much less my dad. I became an orphan, in one of the orphanages in San Francisco. Two years later, I ran off. Couldn’t stand that place any longer. And guess what? If you think villains are the cruel ones, the sinister and wicked, you’re wrong. Because the only person who bothered to take me in from the streets was a Villain.

Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.
