Okay. I'm caught up through 140 of Critical Role. I'm still rattled in the best way, and I'm not sure anything I could say about it would be coherent at this point, so just dump your thoughts on me.

Mea Not that I really think any other CR fans peruse my wall, but just in case because it's such big spoilers: SPOILERS FOR C2E140

*incoherent screaming and gentle weeping*

That's basically the majority of my thoughts even a week later. Like literally five times a day I remember Molly's alive and I just get a stupid grin on my face. xD

So I actually stayed up late and watched the *whole* episode live (first time I've done all the way through) and let me tell you that was a beautiful and terrible thing to watch live. I will never forget how my heart dropped at that Nat 1 and how the next ten minutes were like the worst thing ever to watch, I was straight up crying cause yeah, even though it would have been kinda poetic for them to not be able to bring him back I wanted that happy ending *so* badly (and it's poetic this way too). Pretty much the entire ten minutes I was begging at the screen for either Essek to come up with some Dunamancy nonsense to reverse time or for Cad to try divine intervention.

And then he DID and it WORKED and Cad has always been my favorite character and the poetry of Tal's new character bringing back his old is sublime. And Molly's "love" to Yasha killed me hardest out of everything that happened after that.

Also like, the fight itself was amazing and Marine Layer was clutch, the clerics were clutch, and Jester getting the HDYWTDT is so incredibly fitting considering that when she did that tarot reading on Lucian she pulled the final card and it meant "facing you is death" and she was literally facing him. And then she said it's not bad because it could mean rebirth (and then Molly came back) and honestly at this point the dice are just laughing at us all.

Now my only concern is that tomorrow's finale is 7 hours long, which could just be because everyone decided to spend way too long goofing off in the tower, but Trent is still a thing and 7 hours is so much time for something to go wrong...

Feltrix I have other thoughts that I'm sure I'll get to at some point but the next episode is seven hours? WHAT?! They've never gotten close to that before in either campaign! I've been concerned for a while that we wouldn't have a conclusive end for Trent or that it would be narrated in an epilogue, but now I'm concerned that he's pulling a Saruman.

For the most part, my thoughts are the same as yours. Incoherent screaming, catharsis, the dice are incredibly poetic, you know how it is. It recently hit me how sad I am that the campaign is ending, but I'm also thrilled to see how the next one will begin.

Yeah they put out a special announcement pushing the rebroadcast times back and then also clarified that the runtime comes out to just over 7 hours, which is a big Concern because the other longest episodes include: Gelidon & Tomb Takers round 1, and the Vecna fight in C1, and other big battles. Basically always involving combat.

And SAME. Seriously if there are any more deaths I will riot. We already got so close to not having a happy ending, I can't handle more stress. I honestly don't even want another combat encounter, it's too risky. But I'm so down for a courtroom drama Trent takedown ending in him getting led away in chains with the antimagic collar on, so that's what I'm rooting for.

Well, I've gone ahead and analyzed all of the episodes of CR over 5 hours long, and, like you, realized all of them had a very intense combat encounter. I am nearly 100% certain that Trent is going to be unleashed upon M9 and I will not be doing any of the sleeping tonight.

Oh nooo... yeah idk how I'm going to sleep either. Are you planning on watching live? I am, but I'm only going to try to make it until the break bc it starts 8pm my time and I have work Friday. Assuming the break is a cliffhanger like it usually is, I probably won't be sleeping tomorrow night either...

Oh also they announced that there will be 1 break and it's a full 3 hours and 42 minutes in, aka an entire episode length by itself.

Feltrix I'm going to wait for it to come out on Monday as I have plans tomorrow night and work in the morning. But 140 set the record for longest first half, and 141 immediately broke it.

Mea A Volkswagen Passat! Kinda unusual and it's a bit of an older car than I was going for, but it's in really good condition and I just fell in love with it. I don't actually have the car yet because it's still at the shop getting a side view mirror fixed, and I forgot to take pictures of it, but yeah I'm super excited. I paid for it in full too so I don't even have to worry about a payment.
