  • Parts Four, Five, Six, and Seven of Chapter Eight are out!
I think this chapter might be my favourite I've ever written (it took me six months, after all) if you want to read it and you haven't read the rest of the story, its kinda a short story unto itself, and has really long summaries at the beginning of each section to explain whats happened up to that point, so you won't be confused to jump in in the middle, and questions at the end of each section should make reviewing easier!

  • It just occurred to me, what is there to stop people from having chat GPT write all their reviews?

ChesTacos chatGPT takes information from the internet prior to 2021 and it might have a hard time finding one singular work on this site

IcyFlame When people were first playing with the tool, I ran a few different pieces through it to have a look and to be honest it gave similar vague feedback for each piece! I think there's nothing wrong with using it as a starting point but it always always gave me back 'show don't tell'

  • I have new tab syndrome.
When some people enter a room they forgot why they came there.
When I open a new tab/website I forgot what I meant to do in that tab until I close it, then I have to go about googling it again.

  • This is truly so impressive, and I suppose I just found a book that has cut my long to-read list and directly to the front!

  • It's been a bit since I've posted anything actually new, so here it is!
The Fallen King: Chapter Eight, Penned

I made sure to put a really big summary at the beginning so to get you up to speed since it's been so long.
And yes, I've already written chapter eight before, but it's like unrecognizable it's been edited so much, so I decided to post it as a new work.
It's also sooo long, it's almost like its own short story, so I've split it into six countem' six sections. (though only three of them are out rn, time to do more reviewing so I can post the rest.)
    Hope y'all enjoy it!

the book starts with the Prologue to Canterbury tales which is written in Middle English so this is hard

    Happy poetry month!
After a little less than a year, I completed this poetry book, which I started poetry month last year, and said I would read by the end of the month.
Despite taking longer than I thought it would, it was an amazing experience, covering three hundred years of English poetry, beginning in the 1400s with Chaucer, and ending in the 1700s with Gray. It was an amazing way to learn about history, humanity, and the beauty of the English language. My favorites by far were the folk ballads and folk songs that were in there, and have introduced me to a whole new genre of music. (songs written before the birth of my great grandparents XD) all in all would suggest reading some historic poetry. Really good stuff, challenging, but in a way that has really helped me grow.

  • Thanks so much for everyone who has reviewed the Fallen King! Over the past couple months I have been doing a major overhaul to the ending of the book and some plot elements, and y'alls thoughts have really influenced that and helped me! Because of that, The Fallen King, chapters 1-7 have been edited a fare bit, and now updated on the site, most notably, Chapter One, Four, and Seven I also updated the cover art for it all, which is a super cool system. Thanks, @Nate for adding that.
Chapters eight and ten have such an extensive edit I'm going to publish them as new works soon.
    Thanks y'all!

Snoink AHHHHH YAY!!!! I still have this on my reading list... I have not forgotten you! I just... am a very lazy reviewer. *dies*

MaybeAndrew @Snoink You don't need to apologize. I am the guy who really actually enjoys your book but hasn't reviewed it in months.
