My new set of #ReviewGoals for this June involve writing 27 or more reviews! That's one a day, allowing for three misses xD Good luck with your goals everybody!

Not a rhetorical question. Looking to read more poetry about cheese.

Today I misread a line in a philosophy book as 'Walter is not an element'. You're welcome, universe.

"It's just semantics", when actually, it's just syntax, and if it were semantics, it would be a problem, because you can have different syntactic forms expressing the same meaning but semantics is meaning and it would be a problem if the two words meant different things and you were quibbling over which one to use.
Stringbean thank you for this

Are those Reviewing Muscles Stretched and your #ReviewGoals Set?
Join the starting line here for the GREAT TORTOISE RACE - and remember, to stay in Team Tortoise all you need is to do one review, every day of June! Starting June 1. Good luck reviewers!

The Great Tortoise Race begins tomorrow where you are encouraged to write 1 review every day of the month, and if you do so, you even get an awesome badge and join the Team Tortoise Victors Roster.
We also are beginning our Search for the Golden Goose | Clear the Green Room Challenge that runs until August 1. If we are victorious in clearing the Green Room this summer we'll unlock a Social Week and 3 days of free lit work posting! I don't think the Green Room has been cleared for several years, and will certainly take all hands on deck to accomplish - but with some of the all star reviewers I think we may be able to pull it off! Also if you'd like to join a Team to make that challenge even more fun, you can sign up Right Here.
It's going to be an awesome Summer!

Alright Reviewers, legend has it that when the Green Room is completely cleared, a Golden Goose can be found - it's been many moons since our own Green Room has been cleared out, and it is time once more for us to find that rare Golden Goose! Huzzah!
The moderator team is issuing a Special Summer Challenge with prizes, teams, and adventure! Join us on our quest to Clear the Green Room and read about the special challenges here! If we are successful in clearing the Green Room and finding the Golden Goose by the end of the summer (Aug 1) it will unlock a Social Week Celebration and Free Literary Work postings forlife3 days!
All the fun starts June 1 - but we can get a start clearing the Green Room even in our May Review Day.Let's find that goose!

I'd like to get back into reviewing in June with #TeamTortoise - though I probably won't be able to 'actually' to all 30 days. My thought is I'll do a review each day but start on the 3rd or 4th of June instead of the very first, so that I can at least get one big assignment out of the way before then. #ReviewGoals
