Jawaad Farooqui was born on September 18, 2000, in Park Ridge, Illinois. He lives in Round Lake Beach with his parents, two sisters, his brother Furqan, and his grandmother. Jawaad graduated early from Grant Community High School in 2018 with an honor roll and is currently a student at DePaul University. Jawaad has been interested in both politics and writing since 2013. Along with his childhood friend, Joshua Jakes, Jawaad created a science fiction fantasy universe known as the Zaja Universe. The Zaja Universe is an alternate universe which is inhabited by numerous intelligent alien species, many of which possess advanced space age technology akin to the TV show Star Trek. In this alternate universe, the human race shares planet Earth with a sentient warrior race of dragons known as the Drakaanjhi, who have lived on Earth since the time of the dinosaurs. They rule a vast galactic empire with Earth as its capital. Jawaad has also volunteered at his local mosque as a Saturday school teacher assistant and office assistant. Jawaad is also a hard worker and a dedicated student, never giving up even under the most extreme pressure. He takes great interest in science fiction, horror, and the paranormal. These genres are usually the themes of some of his works. Jawaad is currently working on other literary projects, including the Warren Paranormal Investigators Inc. series, with the Zaja Universe series being his main area of focus.
