About Kimberlee P.

Hi, I'm Kimberlee. I'm 19 years old, a full time college student, and I have a part time job.

I've recently discovered my passion to write, but I've always been afraid of it. It may sound silly, but I had a minor reading comprehension and speech impediment disorder when I was a young girl. I couldn't understand what I just read out loud, or even when I secretly read to myself. I knew the words, but never the meaning. However, I feel like I've finally grown out of it, but this doesn't make me any less scared. Everyone's had so long at creating work, and I feel cheated from those few years of struggling. I feel like I'm constantly playing "catch up" with my life. I have little to no talent. Instead my older brother is an amazing artist, and I could never compare to him. I'm also not a genius, nor a sporty person. I'm practically nothing.

However, maybe I do have something. I think I have a pretty weird imagination, and I hope that I can convey my thoughts into stories. I just want to write to save my work in some manner, to show myself I can do something. To prove that even when you have no talent, no specialty, that you can still do what you enjoy. Everybody is somebody, and whatever you do in your life is what makes you unique, even if its just scribbling on a paper.

"I write because I want to, and you read because you choose to." -Kimberlee P.
