About JoyDark

Hey, folks! If you’re reading this, I’m still alive, but… you might not know me. Let’s change that, ey?

I’m 16, my pronouns are she/her, and I have several interests, which are listed below. If you know nothing else about me, know that I make mistakes, both in what I say and what I do. So please call me out if you see I made one!

To get it all out of the way: I am white, have a pixie cut of light brown hair, a relatively big nose and a weak jaw, and I occasionally wear glasses. I am pretty agnostic, though I lean towards Christian beliefs. I identify as queer sexuality-wise, and I am almost certainly female (though I don’t always dress like it). I also have OCD, anxiety, and was/am slightly depressed, so if you want to hit me up to talk mental stuff, let me know!

I like reading, but I’ve been doing it less recently. I also like singing and I'm in my school's choir as a soprano, which is quite fun. (Although I still can't really read music, which is disappointing.) I don’t write as much as I plan ideas in my head and never put them onto paper. However, I often like to read others’ work, especially if well written and with minimal grammatical errors—it’s kind of a pet peeve of mine.

Also, if you like webcomics, I can recommend some to you! I get distracted WAY too easily by the likes of Paranatural and Sleepless Domain, but they're still great reads. If you have any webcomic suggestions, you can recommend some to me, too!

Anyway, I hope you have a better idea of who I am now!

(how many times have i redone this bio again)

Interests

Writing, reading, editing, drawing [not great at that though], soccering, daydreaming, singing, mentally sketching out writing ideas more than they are actually written... and I guess we'll see what else

Occupation

quitting my job at the ice cream store, so unemployed :(

You know that place between sleep and awake, that place where you still remember dreaming? That’s where I’ll always love you. That’s where I’ll be waiting.
