@EternalRain 's goodbye from Squills had me looking back and thinking... my parents wanting me to "waste" less time online could have stopped me from having the space to figure out systems that solve problems and go the distance. To have KotGR and Squills still going EIGHT YEARS LATER is so amazing to me, and helps reinforce what I am discovering slowly at work -- that I do have a talent for creating sustainable systems. Thanks to guilds on Neopets and my love for YWS. Do your thing and find your strengths, man.
