Gladius

  • When you suddenly realize you wrote over ten times as much in one week that you have ever written in NaNo, on this collab you're almost done writing.

    Reaction: omgwe'renutshowintheworld
    Secondary reaction: OMGWE'REALMOSTDONEWHENDIDTHISHAPPEN ohwait, just now...

    @Rosendorn

    Rosendorn (for the record it was 60k in 6 days and the current project sits at 160k, unfinished, with another chapter or two to go)

    (Also for the record, we started in July. Late July.)

  • Two ways to read a scene in which Way to Break It, Hero (ie doing something to counteract something else which merely makes the situation worse):

    (Writer, while writing/planning): Ooooh yes! That works nicely~
    (Reader, while reading): D: NUUUUUU!!!

  • You know you spend too much time on the internet (usually writing) when you (ab)use OneTab so much you basically turn it into your permanent bookmark tab. (113 tabs and counting...!)

    Rosendorn Aren't you happy to have it~?

    (You weren't kidding when you said you needed it yesterday :P)

  • You know you're too deep in a fandom when you and your best friend can perfectly plan a Rule 63 joint cosplay of headcanon charries who perfectly fit your relationship. ILU and you know who you are. <3

  • You know you're a writer when you've researched surfing locations in Japan, surfing competition rules, Japanese demons, and CPR methods/procedures...all in the space of three to five hours. For one fic. <3

    Rosendorn Don't forget lifeguard regulations/exams ;P

    Gladius Eh, that was more of a quick once-over that didn't end up having too much bearing... Butyes, it could count. xP

    I guess there's something about Arabic class that brings Gwen roaring back from the dead...

  • Some little itch in the back of my brain is telling me Gwen may yet be crawling back from the depths of the Plot Bunny tunnels into which she's fled...or else it's senioritis. >.> *shrugs*

  • Birthdy wishes, Glad. If you see this!

    For god's sake, Glad, pull it together. Your posts of late have betrayed an emotional deterioration the likes of which I've never seen outside myself. Now if you want advice, don't hesitate to ask, but for the sake of the community stop making drunk posts.

    Gladius ...Ok, how did I only see this now? xD

    I am also highly confused as to your meaning... >.> heh ^^;

  • Plot bunny of the day: Space sci-fi military story along the lines of Halo...with the Air Force dominant instead of the Navy. I mean, c'mon--"fly, fight, and win in air, SPACE, and cyberspace". Where does the Navy come in to that equation? (Air power!! :D [Sorry Navy types...])

Surround yourself with people who are serious about being writers, and who will tell you, ‘Hey—you can do better than this.’ Who will be critical of your work, but also supportive. And who will not be competitive in a negative way.
