you know I had an entire summer to work on my writing projects, but yeah, the day before school starts is a perfect time to start working on spooky squad revamped or not my circus

Man I love being a casual fan of something. I love knowing nothing about the creators or the community. What's that, insane fandom drama? Nope, never heard of it, I'm just frolicking in a field of flowers listening to this cool folk music

I think people should start using the word "tickety-boo" more often. Just a thought

Hot take (or lukewarm, idk):

Sometimes your writing isn't that bad, you've just been staring at it for too long.

Like, a while ago I wrote a story on another site, and when I posted it I felt that it was out of character and cringy... only to find someone recommending the story to others, praising it for being in-character and having similar humor to the source material.

So, yeah, maybe it's not as bad as you think it is. Maybe it's because you'll always be in Editing Mode when reading your own work rather than Reading Mode (i.e, you'll always be searching for mistakes or things you can improve on, rather than appreciating or analyzing or whatnot)

I think otamotones are cool but at the same time I am no musician (I have not touched an instrument since I had to learn hot crossed buns on a recorder in 3rd grade)
