Jazzy Dracula

Photo of Dracula

Welcome to the bright part of the dark side.

“Lie close,” Laura said,
Pricking up her golden head:
“We must not look at goblin men,
We must not buy their fruits:
Who knows upon what soil they fed
Their hungry thirsty roots?”
“Come buy,” call the goblins
Hobbling down the glen.

My name is Dracula. I am a vampire and I tend to live within my imagination. I fail to see what's wrong with that. :p

Interests

Books, history, writing and fandoms.

Occupation

Avid reader.

The idea that a poem was a made thing stayed with me, and I decided then that I wanted to be an artist, not just a diarist. So I put myself through a kind of apprenticeship in writing poetry, and I understood even then that my practice as a poet was deeply related to my reading.
