Hello, welcome to my little corner of the internet. I'll go fetch you some tea, make yourself at home :3
The name's Marty. You can also call me by my pen name of Despondence if you prefer, or make up your own unique name for me if you please, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
I am currently in highschool in case you were wondering! I spend most of the freetime I have writing or drawing, or staring off into space with my head in the clouds.
Recently I have become more busy, and due to this I have limited time to write, so for that I apologize when my updates have no constant schedule. Bear with me as I attempt to sort out my stress and find more time for writing.
Other hobbies and interests include video games, manga, anime, cosplay, and all other typical nerdy things. When I'm not doing any of these things, I'm probably daydreaming about my favorite fictional universes or characters. It's easy for me to get sidetracked.
Much of my writing will contain darker themes to them, seeing as sometimes I use my writing as a way to vent my own personal feelings from my chronic depression and anxiety, although a lot more of this is contained to shorter stories than longer ones, so there's that.
I write fanfiction mostly, however I also plan to post some short stories or one-shots when the idea crosses my mind. Regardless of what I write, I hope you enjoy something you find here. I want to make a story that was just as much of a pleasure for you to read as it was for me to write ^w^
Making others better while bettering myself is one of my goals, so I hope to provide helpful reviews, and read into every comment or criticism I receive to make myself better. So feel free to critique any one of my works I have posted! I'm always trying to improve myself.
Lastly, don't feel shy around me. I am shy myself, however I am always open to meet new people and talk about similar interests, or simply help someone out if they're having a bad day.
