About Demeter
Hi, I’m Demeter! I got my name from the musical Cats, not the goddess, although she’s quite cool too.
I’m twenty-three and I study translation in university. I like hot chocolate with whipped cream. I like to rap sometimes. But please don’t tell anyone.
I love cool earrings and colourful nail polish. I love travelling and seeing new places, especially if those places make me feel like I’m in a Jane Austen book.
I discovered YWS in May 2008 when I was looking for a site to post stories and get comments. I’m really glad that I did, although nowadays I don't really post any of my own writing. I am working on a novel though!
My favourite book is the Catcher in the Rye and my favourite film is the Lion King, which you probably never guessed!
I also like fluffy baby seals. ^_^
