Thank you so much for all your advice- it's so good to know someone else who went through the same process! The BMAT was- well. I could call it several nasty things, but seeing as it is an exam and thus an inanimate... abstract... thing (?), I won't. I do have an offer from my back-up in the UK- biomedical science at Aberdeen. I literally just put it down because I needed to fill the gap. I do not know why I chose Aberdeen. But there you go. As with the Irish universities- I'm a bit calmer now than I was yesterday and can look at things more logically. Dad kept saying, "Don't get trapped into going to Ireland because you think it's your only option" but honestly, I'm probably just overreacting about wanting to get out of Dublin. It's a big city. Also- as far as the fees go, I'm about 80% sure we have to pay them too in the UK? Which would leave me at least £45,000 in debt (the NHS apparently pay for your last year of fees in Med). I'm gad you're happy in Bio though I guess things always work themselves out.
