I told husband the new premise of bunny rom com and he said "that sounds like a hallmark movie" so now I'm just waiting for hallmark to call me up.
He also just gave me an even better cute small town name because i panic named it at the last second when it was time to go to betas and the town was still [Name]. (he also named every single parent in this book).
i mean how did i even write novels before my cute supportive husband??this has been sappy posts with carlito

Don't want to take up your thread so I will just say that my last attempt at the 100 baby challenge resulted in vampire triplets and it was a lot...
Carlito I've NEVER had triplets and i'm kind of sad to be honest. but VAMPIRE TRIPLETS??? I don't even know where I'd begin.
Of her current five kids there are two sets of twins because she's on a fault line and it's already been a lot. Poor thing has passed out like 12 times

IcyFlame ACTUAL CHAOS. It might be a mod setting to be fair, I remember I went through a phase where a mod kept giving me like 5 babies at a time so I had to cheat some of them away because I am not about trying to raise toddlers like that. Have you seen the new baby update? That's going to make this challenge 100 times harder haha

Never fear - The Ultimate YWS Word Crawl is here!
I've been using word crawls for years to help trick my brain into writing more, so I wrote one of my own! If you're new to word crawls, the basic idea is that there are a variety of short challenges (like try to write x number of words in y number of minutes) and before you know it, you've hit your word count goal for the dayor 89,990 words.
Don't be intimidated by the length of the Ultimate YWS Crawl - it's a bit of a choose your own adventure, and it's designed to last the whole month
Everything you need to know is within the crawl, but I'm also happy to answer questions as needed! No one has finished yet - can you be the first

Wrote three paragraphs that I'm proud of to go with that new opening line and I've just been reading my new opening over and over rather than progressing any further.
lol counting those three paragraphs as a win and going back to my latest rewatch of jane the virgin.

Even though we're only 10 days into October, it's time to get ready to write 50,000 words in the month of November!!
50k feels impossible? Never fear! If 1667 words a day doesn't work for you, come up with a different goal for November!
I'll be doing developmental edits and maybe other stuff.
The important thing is: you should write a novel in a month with us.
*It doesn't have to be good.
*You don't have to let anyone read it.
*It's supposed to be fun.
Get brainstorming! Get planning! Make your aesthetics! Create your playlists! And then PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PROJECT when you're ready because I love to hear about them and I want to cheer you on!

i keep dropping snippets of Falling on Thin Ice (aka third times the charm L+Z reboot that is for real working this time) on @IcyFlame's wall because she's the one that's been patiently waiting for this rewrite since 2020 and it's a crime that she's been on hiatus so long that she doesn't even know they're waiting for her there.
in other news i'm almost done with the first act and it's working and i'm overjoyed <3

lol what if i wrote a trilogy of figure skating books except they're not actually connected and one is young adult, one is adult, and one is middle grade.
because i'm working on the ya now (falling on thin ice). i have two different ideas that could become an adult figure skating book (maybe i could blob the two different ideas together??). and i just watched a video of a very cute 13 year old skater from a competition last week and my brain gave me my very first middle grade book idea??
also the rink i skate at opens for the season this week and i'll be starting private lessons for the first time! super super excited!!

The post-olympic season is always interesting and I think this one will be SUPER interesting! A lot of huge stars from the last 4-8 years have retired so there's a ton of room for new stars to emerge. Also, there are no Russians which is honestly such a palate cleanser after utter mess of the last 4 years (all russians have been banned from international sports because of the invasion of ukraine)
