Cadi wrote:A small internet safety note!
You might have noticed that getting into WFP using Google Chrome this week requires you to click through a privacy warning! It looks as though this is because the WFP certificate has expired. I'm sure Nate is on the case with renewing it, or whatever else needs sorting, but in the meantime, a quick internet security lesson...
The certificate is the thing that tells your browser that you really, really are loading up WFP, and not some other page pretending to be WFP in order to steal your stuff. Sometimes, people email out links that look real at a glance, but actually go to a fake site that steals data. This is called phishing.
We YWSers trust Nate and each other, so if you've got your link from another YWSer who you trust, and you've looked at your link, and you're sure it's a WFP link, it's probably okay to click through!
BUT! Don't get into the habit!
Out on the internet in general, you should always be suspicious when you get one of these privacy errors. Double-check the link, and read the detail on the error carefully. If in doubt, run away!

Limerick I found funny
"A canner, exceedingly canny,
One morning remarked to his granny.
A canner can can,
Anything that he can,
But a canner can't can a can, can he?."
