ErinYount Well I'm in college.. Literature major at DU.
So I have a long break going on right now. You know there is this thing about holidays.. they seem so many on the first day, and they seem so less on the 20th. Just ten more days of holiday left. then a terrible, petrifying, killing three months of a new semester wait.
The thoughts are killing me.

One of my favourite is that it is *like* Catcher in the Rye, but not like it, exactly. Sort of like a tribute to the awesomosity it is.
And thenthe complication of emotions is absolutely fascinating!

ErinYount I dont know. Cather in the Rye is much more like Perks of being a wallflower. or well the other way around, since Perks was written way after Rye.

My favourite part: How when Alaska dies, the loss is shown very practically, Not at all melodramatic, but very very much like I would feel it if I lose someone.

Dicken's David Copperfield.
The Diary of Anne Frank.
The Name Sake by Jhumpa Lahiri.
And I enjoy Milan Kundera off and on.
