There are few main places you will probably find yourself on YWS, the forums, the chat, and the STORYBOOKS! Storybooks are a story idea, created by one or more members. Then, you post this idea, and different people will ask to sign up and create characters. It's a great way to meet new people and learn the value of teamwork. Storybook FAQ and Storybook Rules
This guy is really important. Nate is the site founder of YWS. He also doubles as Big Brother. So, look at his page of pure awesomeness and melt in the beauty of it: @Nate

If you want, there are a group of mentors on YWS called clubs/1127 In fact, I recently became a mentor myself. These (myself included) people want to help you during your first month of YWS. So if you want, browse through the profiles at the other end of this link and find a mentor that suits you. Just PM them and they'll be happy to help.
I think that pretty much wraps up this welcome. If you ever need anything, just post on my wall or PM me. I'd really like to give you a review once you post some works.

SushiSashimi333 Same as yubbies. It says that you haven't posted anything. Did you press publish? That actually is different from the save as draft, because drafts we can't see.
