StellaThomas oooh - well I don't know what Limerick is like atm but I get the impression that while everywhere is bad the capital is like ten times worse! We were lucky but a lot of my friends moving out this year have had such a rough time of it.
If you're looking for new housemates, I know that Trinity has a student "noticeboard" online where there's always people renting rooms/looking to share... it's how I found one of my roommates whom I ended up living with for two years because we got on so well! I would look into it if you want to make your numbers back up - I know it feels like it'll just be people who are a bit odd or unfriendly and hence don't have any already-willing roommates - but often it's people like yourself whose plans have fallen through on no fault of their own.

Gardevite Ah Limerick isn't toi bad, just a bit of a shortage and prices are up a bit, but nothing like Dublin! Yeah there's a ULnfreshers page I check every now and then!
