Thanks a bunch for our review of yellow sheets. Glad you enjoyed it. The piece is actually about the yellow fever outbreaks in new York during the late 1800s. So many bodies were buried thy when it rained the sheets used to wrap them would rise up to the surface. Truly horrifying tale. I felt leaving it vague with small hints like the burrows and the words on the statue of liberty the main character describes.

Haha. I have just read novels on Africa and AIDS and they just seemed so similar to your description on yellow fever, I mixed them up and immediately assumed the setting was on Africa. Sorry.

mikepyro No problem at all! I certainly wouldn't have known the symptoms of yellow fever without my research of it back then. I was watching an episode of xfiles and they mentioned the story and I was like: idea

I"M BACK! Gosh. Imagine my life without YWS! I'm still banned from computers, and I'm online secretly. Luckily my dad let me use the laptop to translate his script from our dialect to english. SShh.
