    Oh looks like I will be doing the honours by being number 1 :)
    I read a lot of African literature, from writers like Ngugi wa thiongo, Ken Saro Wiwa, Bessie Head just to name a few. You should try them, their really good teachers for writing and very colourful. But my favourite book will have to be Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; it's just so delicious when you read it :D

    ziggiefred Well, Harry Potter is a good read. I also used to be a huge fan of Goosebumps books when I was about 10 to 13 but I grew out of them as the years went on mostly because my high school library did not have them in stock :)
